Welcome

Started in 1962, the Cecilian Singers is a mixed choir in Hong Kong that sings a myriad repertoire from madrigals, world music to Mozart in the style of a cappella harmonies or pieces with accompaniment.

See 'Current and Future Concerts' for details of our Spring Concert

The Cecilian Singers are well known for their wonderful sound, great selection of songs and enthusiasm for performance.

We usually perform twice a year doing a Spring/ Easter Concert, plus our popular Christmas Concert in December at St John's Cathedral, Hong Kong. Rehearsals for our Easter Concert begin in February and September for our Christmas Concert held at Fanny Li Hall (St John's). The Cecilian Singers has a dedicated following in Hong Kong and includes a solid group of loyal choir members with one choir member singing with us for 34 years. New singers (sopranos, altos, tenors and basses) always welcome and auditions are very brief.

The Cecilian Singers is a registered charity in Hong Kong and the profits from our concerts go to various charities of our choice. The choir has a committee made up of enthusiastic members who meet three or four times a year. Elections to the committee are held once a year at the Annual General Meeting.
